FAQ
How do I register?
Registration begins in March for returning swimmers and April for new swimmers. You can register online or in-person at the Edgewater library, date TBA.
How much does it cost?
It is $150/swimmer. There are not family discounts.
Does my child need to be able to swim across the pool?
Yes, your child must be able to swim 25 yards without help. It doesn't have to look great and be the perfect stroke, but they must be able to swim. This is a swim team, not swim lessons.
How many practices do we need to attend?
Of course we would like all swimmers to attend all practices, but we also understand there are other commitments. Please try to attend as many practices as possible. We are a competitive team, but we also have a lot of fun!
What do I have to do to volunteer?
There are many jobs at the meets, including concession, calling kids, timing, stroke and turn, etc. There will be instructions when the season starts.
Where do I get a suit?
It is important that suits are sized correctly. They fit differently than a regular swim suit. You can go to Metro Swim Shop in Glen Burnie to be sized and purchase a suit. They will also be at the in-person event in April.
